D is for something different!
Whilst we are all from different counties, states, countries and indeed continents, one thing we all do is enjoy our food.......
so Denise is asking you.....what do YOU like with a cup of tea or morning coffee?
Above you see my ultimate treat. A Danish pastry. Apricot with a hidden vanilla cream....pure DENOMIC DELIGHT!
So.......come on share yours.

I tend to eat oatmeal and blueberries with flax meal every morning but love blueberry or raspberry turnover pastries ~ Enjoy the week ^_^

Delicious! Curse you, Nesbitt!
ReplyDeleteI like everything Danish in the field of food. At home I have tea and muesli!
ReplyDeleteDAMN you! lol I try to stay away from sweets so usually have a healthy cereal with yogurt mixed in it. But for something DIFFERENT, I do like scrambled eggs.
ReplyDeleteDIFFERENT and DELICIOUS as well as DELECTABLE...what more could you want?!
ReplyDeleteDITTO to Leslie!!!! I am sorry to say that while DANISH are DELIS...I stick with my tasty but somewhat DRAB fat free plain yogurt with some berries and sometimes granola.
ReplyDeleteNow I'm going to have to head on out for a danish.
ReplyDeleteDroissant!
ReplyDeleteMmmm...delicious!! However, I usually have oatmeal or a chocolate protein shake, and occassionally a muffin or donut for "dessert" :-)
ReplyDeleteSorry, the first time I added my link something went wrong, but I cannot delete it.It's number 17. Can anybody delete it?
ReplyDeleteWil - Done.
DeleteGood one for D. If not a danish, perhaps a donut to dine on with a cup of Dunkin' Donuts cofee. Me? I usually go with 3 poached eggs and an avocado.
ReplyDeleteThank you Roger!!
ReplyDeleteI usually have my bowl of Special K cereal, but what I really want is a nice gooey pastry just warm from the oven.
ReplyDeleteThey looks very good, but I never eat them, hehe
ReplyDeleteI chose another Danish
My morning begins with porridge + fruit and coffee! Summer and winter!
ReplyDeleteOh, that looks delicious! Can I have one of those just once?
ReplyDeleteI typically have scrambled eggs or a bowl of oatmeal, but I think I could deviate from the plan just once. :)
My favorite is a apricot white chocolate walnut scone, with clotted cream and raspberry jam...to die for!!!!
ReplyDeleteThat really Does look Delicious! I have oatmeal or plain yoghurt with Berries and granola most days but for a treat I tend to go with apple turnovers!
ReplyDeleteLike everyone else here (my, but aren't we a healthy bunch?), my morning meal is totally wholesome (fruit and plain fat-free yogurt or a hard-boiled egg),
ReplyDeletebut if I could have what I really want, I'd enjoy a lovely, buttery croissant!
The pastry looks yummy and decadent.
ReplyDeleteI lofe muffins, scones and brownies !
ReplyDeleteYum! And it is so close!
ReplyDeleteA ham and cheese croissant...and a hazelnut latte!!!
ReplyDeleteDon't have anything to eat with my morning coffee, delaying dinner dutifully...
ReplyDeleteLooks delicious!
ReplyDeleteI like a little something sweet with my tea ... danish is good, cookies are delicious, sometime toast and jam.
ReplyDeleteI usually have cracker and cheese and fruit. YUM!
ReplyDeleteMy usual breakfast is oatmeal and an English muffin with Spreadable Fruit (orange marmalade) and coffee. But if I could afford the calories, I'd indulge in Panera's orange scone. Delicious and delightful!
ReplyDeleteI have to reach back to B for mine. I make bran muffins that are both healthy and tasty. Plus, they are so easy to warm up in the toaster oven in the morning I'm not tempted by decadent danish (even though it does look worth the calories). - Margy
ReplyDeleteYes, for me the Danish would be different, because they would be too sweet in the morning for me:)
ReplyDeleteIf I were to buy such Danish goodies, they would not last until morning coffee.
ReplyDeleteI have to do with buttered toast.
Denise, I think it is demonic that you don't share the delicious recipe...though now that I think of it, it may come from that Danish bakery...hmmmm, do tell, please do tell!
ReplyDeleteHi there Denise, it is so nice to see you hosting again at your wonderful meme that you started a long time ago. I think it was my first carnival that I was so scared to do when I started blogging years ago, as I did not know that all the bloggers were so nice at ABC...I think it is one of the most successful meme, carnivals and is loved by so many bloggers...your photo of the pastry makes me so hungry...thanks again and cheers.
ReplyDeleteMMM!!! Looks delicious, Denise! A sticky cinnamon roll does the trick for me, but yogurt and toast are what usually what I end up with.
ReplyDeleteHappy Wednesday all and good to see you, Denise!
Take care,
Kathy
